What's in a standard install

- Standard back-to-back install: indoor and outdoor units on either side of the same wall
- Electrical connection by a licensed electrician
- Removal and refrigerant recovery of any old unit
- Commissioning, a run-through of the remote and the warranty paperwork
Why it matters
Sizing is where installs go wrong. An undersized unit runs flat out and never gets there; an oversized one short-cycles and never dries the air. We size from the room, the glass and the insulation, not from a rule of thumb.

How much does a split system install cost?
A standard 2.5 kW back-to-back supply and install starts from [PRICE]. Longer pipe runs, brackets or electrical upgrades are quoted on site.
Can I buy the unit myself?
Yes. We install customer-supplied units; the warranty on the unit is then with the retailer.
How long does an install take?
A standard back-to-back takes about half a day. Multi-heads and long runs take a full day.
